Hyder has completed the $6.7 million 10 Mile Conference Room Addition for LOYAL CUSTOMER Vail Resorts! This addition replaced an existing conference room that collapsed under heavy snows. The work also involved renovation to the existing pre-function and conference area in the building. The project was logistically challenging with a very tight site. The Hyder team was Doug, Michael B, Lou, and Ian. This is our 85th project with Vail Resorts.
The project was not without some significant challenges. Unforeseen conditions caused some early design changes that required that the structure be built through the winter months. In typical Hyder fashion the Mountain Division adjusted and persevered getting the roof on in a bitter cold Breckenridge winter.
