At Hyder, you’ll have the opportunity to join one of our dynamic committees and engage with colleagues who share your passions and drive positive change within our organization and the communities we serve.

Hyder Giving
Mission: To enhance both our community and Hyder by giving our time and resources through partnerships, volunteer opportunities, and financial/in-kind donations.
Responsibilities: Evaluate and identify opportunities for Hyder and its people to be involved in communities in which we operate. Determine where to allocate our annual donation budget.

Procore Committee
Mission: To develop and maintain Hyder’s Best Practices for Procore, implement new releases and leverage Procore to improve accountability and efficiency across Hyder Projects.
Responsibilities: Master Procore to maximize benefits, test releases, implement best practices, educate Hyder staff, and troubleshoot team issues.

Safety Committee
Mission: To create, promote, and maintain an employee driven safety culture for our employees, construction teams, and the public.
Responsibilities: Continually update existing safety policies to meet or exceed OSHA standards, develop systems to ensure safety planning at all jobsite stages, facilitate safety trainings, and improve safety culture engagement.

Culture Committee
Mission: To inspire employees to live the Hyder Way.
Responsibilities: Keep a constant pulse on Hyder’s culture to ensure we are continuously improving all aspects of it while offering our employees the opportunities to continuously improve themselves.

Health and Wellness Committee
Mission: To promote healthy choices in daily life and facilitate opportunities for wellness enhancements for Hyder’s employees and their families.
Responsibilities: We facilitate health and wellness challenges, supply healthy snacks for the office, and help maintain the incredible Hyder gym, which includes Peloton equipment.

Technology Committee
Mission: To evaluate and promote the use of technology to increase efficiency of Hyder’s operations and to support and enhance our customer experience.
Responsibilities: Consistently evaluate current software and hardware and make recommendations on potential replacements or enhancements. Promote best IT practices for efficiency and safety.

Social Committee
Mission: To help build a more engaged internal community, encourage teams and departments to work together, and create an inspired and engaged employee culture.
Responsibilities: Organize events and activities to promote positive employee relationships. Events have included summer picnics, happy hours, holiday parties, jobsite tours, and even Office Olympics.
