Please join us in congratulating Lou Opatrny on his promotion to Senior Superintendent. Lou started with Hyder Construction on the Colorado Ski and Sport renovation in Aurora. From there he went onto Labonte’s restaurant, a very challenging fast-paced on-mountain restaurant. He helped out at the Ride at RiNo and Villa Rosso along the way. Then came the award-winning Boiler House Residence, which was a very unique historical renovation/conversion project and completely new product type for Lou. After that came the Antler’s renovation and the 10 Mile Conference Room. Finally onto the Breckenridge Parking Garage, where Lou and the team knocked it out of the park.

Over the course of almost five years at Hyder, Lou has shown a tremendous amount of growth in both his construction and management experience. Organic growth has always been a priority at Hyder and Lou is a perfect example of this. Congratulations Lou!!
