Five years ago, Jim Allessio Jim was hired on with Hyder. His first project as Senior Superintendent was the Ride at RiNo district. A $14 million five story apartment building with 84 micro-loft units and underground parking among other amenities. This project came with no shortage of many different and unforeseen challenges, yet Jim led his team and completed the project.
After that, he was assigned to The Lone rock project, known as one of Hyder’s most unique projects for many reasons. Jim was the first superintendent on site to work on road access for the rest of the teams soon to trail. He also was responsible for all site build, the forced main, water treatment plant and lift station and coordinating numerous rock blasting for other buildings to follow. There were many times when Jim could be found assisting and mentoring other superintendents and simply taking the lead on other work that needed attention no matter the area.
Next came the Central Green project for one of our Loyal customers Aimco. Before that project picked up steam, he was able to help the Benson Hotel team at the foundation stages.
We are grateful to have Jim on our teams and the experience he shares and brings to each project he is involved with.
