Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital Linear Accelerator

About the Project

This mass concrete vault is a 1,000 square foot addition at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital and is a state-of-the-art linear accelerator (linac) for animal cancer treatment. The hospital had to remain under 24/7 operations during construction. The vault walls and roof are 3’ and 6’ wide. The project includes adding medical treatment areas, tying in to existing utilities and medical gas, adding new cooling and heading equipment, and finishing out the space.
