Jacob Walters Promoted to Senior Superintendent 🎉

We’re proud to announce the promotion of Jacob Walters to Senior Superintendent. This milestone reflects not just years of experience, but the leadership, dedication, and integrity Jacob brings to every project and team he leads.

Jacob’s journey with Hyder began in 2015 as an intern on the FirstBank Headquarters expansion. From there, he progressed through roles as Project Engineer, Area Superintendent, and Superintendent—building his expertise on projects like The Ride at RiNo, the Antlers in Vail, the Spa and Wellness building at Lone Rock, and the Hotel Alpenrock in Breckenridge.

Most recently, Jacob was tapped to lead the $45 million reconstruction of the Dobson Ice Arena in Vail, a complex Joint Venture with McHugh Construction. His ability to manage challenging schedules, coordinate across teams, and maintain a strong safety culture has been instrumental to the project’s success.
