Every month we feature a different past project to help you learn (or remember!) more about Hyder’s history and the great projects we’ve been a part of! 22 years ago, we completed this $4.5 million on-mountain restaurant at Breck Ski Area, Ten Mile Station, for Vail Resorts. We have done over 90 projects for this LOYAL CUSTOMER over the years. Although we’d done a few on-mountain restaurants for them at Vail, this was the first one at Breck.
Ten Mile Station
This restaurant, built at a 10,200 foot elevation on Breckenridge Resort’s Peak 9, is an architectural mix of contemporary components and late 1800’s-era mining building components. Facing a tight schedule, Hyder’s team was able to meet the Owner’s projected Christmas season opening date.
