Exciting News! The Aerie On-Mountain Restaurant at Copper is now a winner in Engineering News-Record‘s Best of the Best Projects competition, selected the best Office/Retail/Mixed-Use construction project nationwide!
The competition began last March with a call for entries, which resulted in more than 800 project teams submitting their best work to regional Best Projects competition, with The Aerie being submitted to ENR Mountain States. In each of the 10 regions, editors assembled a panel of judges to select winners in 18 categories. The Aerie was selected as the winner in the Office/Retail/Mixed Use category on the regional level.
Once regional winners were chosen, top winners in each category from each region moved up to the national competition—more than 200 projects in total. A group of 19 judges from across the country and industry sectors examined each project to select the best of the best in terms of teamwork, safety, overcoming challenges, innovation, and quality.
Winners will be featured in ENR’s March 17 issue and celebrated at the Award of Excellence Gala in NYC on March 27.
