“I believe this principal is truly what sets our people apart. Life is full of challenges, which if overcome, can become defining moments in one’s career and personal life. While it can at times be tempting to offload problems to others, it is the ones that constantly rise up and perform that become an inspiration to others and create a reputation for themselves. Hyder prides itself on being dependable and performing under the most extreme conditions, and our people are a testament to success of this principal.”
Life Outside Hyder
“I love to run! As a high school and collegiate runner, it was what fueled that competitive edge that kept me disciplined and goal oriented. As I have gotten older and slowed down a bit, running has now become a great way to stay in shape and clear the mind. My wife has started finding a love for hiking, so I have really enjoyed getting outdoors and sharing this great state we live in with her as well. I met my wife Leigh Anne while I was working in Atlanta. Being from Alabama, she of course was a Crimson Tide fan and quickly indoctrinated me into that passionate fan base. We have been married for 11 years and enjoy hiking, biking, and spending time in the mountains together. We also have 4 nieces and nephews all between 2-4 years old, which can get interesting when they all visit together.”
