Colin’s primary responsibility is in operations as a Project Executive managing projects and their teams from initiation through closeout. He works closely with our teams throughout the project to ensure Hyder’s services and delivery is aligned with our client’s objectives. Establishing and nurturing relationships is one of Colin’s strengths and has yielded numerous successful projects and many loyal customers.
Colin initiated his passion for construction as a carpenter framing houses while attending classes at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He pursued these interests by completing his degree from the School of Engineering and Construction Management at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He moved to Denver in 1997 to begin his professional career, became a LEED Accredited Professional, and started building projects and relationships throughout Colorado.
Colin, his wife, and two (way too) energetic children live in Denver and love all Colorado has to offer. Much like many Hyder employees, Colin lives an active life style, and if he’s not working he’s usually coaching, cheering, and/or chasing one of his kids at the rink, field, pool, court, or hill.
