About the Project
This project is a 5,000 square-foot office renovation in a World War II era building, part of the Denver Medical Depot, on the federal historic registry. All the finishes have been stripped back to their original state, revealing a space that is both historic and modern industrial, with exposed brick and wood floor joists. The Denver Medical Depot’s history dates back to 1942, when it acted as a U.S. Army storage and distribution center for medical equipment and supplies. It is an example of World War II era military installation construction and was designed by Denver architect Temple Buell.
