Picea Residences Takes Shape in Boulder

Hyder Construction is bringing Picea Residences to life in the heart of downtown Boulder. Developed by Trailbreak Partners and Pace Development, the approximately 155,000-square-foot project will include 52 townhomes across 10 buildings, with residences ranging from approximately 1,600 to 3,500 square feet. Each home will include three interior levels plus a private rooftop patio.

Designed by Coburn, Picea combines contemporary interiors with an emphasis on outdoor living. Rooftop patios will include solar panels, while landscaped paths and gathering areas will connect the community. The development will include a mix of affordable, market-rate and luxury residences, with four tiers of interior finishes.

Construction is progressing across the site, with framing, roofing, building systems and site infrastructure work moving forward. The first residences are anticipated to be ready for move-in beginning in late spring 2027, with construction continuing through April 2029.
