HR/Training Coordinator

 

The Human Resources/Training Coordinator will lead our corporate learning platform; work with Executives to align training and development programs within their departments.  Assist HR Manager with current initiatives and HR functions.

Major Responsibiilties:

  • Develops training strategies and programs to support company initiatives including research, planning, organization form of training delivery (Web, eLearning, etc.) and media production.
  • Reviews, evaluates and modifies existing and proposed programs, and recommends appropriate changes.
  • Conducts training needs assessment annually.
  • Continuously envisions new course offerings in alignment with business needs.
  • Creates course agendas (lesson plans), outlines, and follow up testing. Sources external resources as appropriate and works closely with those resources to assure media aligns with course objectives.
  • Reviews vendor literature and training publications to keep abreast of current training methodologies/trends and media implications.
  • Ensures course development is completed on time and within budget, and meets standards of quality.
  • Assists HR Manager with generalist functions including recruiting, orientation, benefits administration, distribution of company policies.

Senior Project Manager/Project Manager

 

Senior Project Management/Project Manager at Hyder Construction requires a “hands-on” approach. Involved daily in technical construction, planning and cost estimating. The Project Manager reports to the Manager of Operations and manages projects as assigned by executive management. The Project Manager is responsible for client relations, financial management, planning, scheduling and coordinating with the Field Superintendent.

 Essential functions of this position include: 

  • Knowledge of construction trades
  • Ability to create successful client relations
  • Cost estimating and analysis skills
  • Ability to negotiate, plan and execute projects on aggressive schedules
  • Leadership and problem solving skills

Key requirements include:

  • 20 years commercial construction experience for Senior PM and 5-10 years experience for PM
  • 4 year degree in construction or engineering
  • LEED preferred
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Time management capabilities
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Dependability and versatility
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Microfsoft Office, Internet and Construction Software
