Vail's Front Door

Hyder Construction was selected to build the long-awaited Vail’s Front Door Project. The 300,000 s.f. redevelopment for Vail Resorts Development Company is located on 11 acres at the base of the Vista Bahn Chair Lift. The project consisted of 13 exclusive town homes at the Lodge at Vail Chalets, a Skier Services building, the new Vail Mountain Ski Club and a new spa for the Lodge at Vail. A 200 space, 3 level underground parking structure was built beneath the project. In 2008, Vail's Front Door was the recipient of the prestigious ACE Award for Project of the Year Over $60 million.
