1520 Market Core & Shell

The three-story Rocky Mountain Seed Co. building at 1520 Market in Downtown Denver, originally built in 1880, was renovated to accommodate a single tenant commercial space. The basement was converted into an underground parking garage. The building’s original wood and masonry structure were restored to their original condition. The crumbling interior center support wall was replaced with structural steel. Additional improvements included adding a new elevator and two stair cores through the existing wood floor joist structure, restructuring the roof to hold a new deck, and installing a new storefront to match the original appearance.
